Africans in Italy have been advised to unite and work together in addressing issues affecting them.
Victor Emeka Okeadu, Adjunct Councillor of the City Council of Rome urged Africans in the country to overcome personal differences, join efforts and support those working for the good of the community.
“Both the rich and poor Africans in Italy have so much to offer,” Mr. Okeadu said.

Nigerians in Parma are organizing a special interdenominational prayer service and a big cultural party to celebrate their country’s 52nd Independence Anniversary.
Nigeria got her independence from Britain on 1st October 1960. In Parma, the occasion will be marked on 20th October with an interdenominational service in Via Solferino, 25, Parma, at 16:00.

Yoruba people of Nigeria resident in Italy held a colourful celebration in Padua on 15th September 2012 to mark the 10th anniversary of Egbe Omo Yoruba Veneto Association.
Representatives of various Yoruba Community Associations from all parts of Italy came together to celebrate an important milestone in the life of one of the strongest and oldest Yoruba cultural groups in Italy.

The Christ Evangelical Church in Italy recently celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a three-day event in Castiglione Delle Stiviere, Mantova.
The celebrations were hosted by Pastor Clement Olarewaju Akinsulire and wife Pastor Mrs. Clementina Akinsulire, the founders of the Christ Evangelical Church in Italy.
