The Pentecostal Council of Churches in Italy has elected new officials to lead the organisation.
The Executives were elected in a meeting of delegates drawn from its member churches in a manner that was generally described as free and unanimous.
The election was supervised by a 3-man electoral commission. The Council was previously headed by interim officials for a year.
The new executive council of this great association has, as its President, Apostle Dr. Michael Tayo Adenitire. A pragmatic and dynamic leader, he clinched the position in a landslide victory reflecting a unanimous choice of the people. He is the Founder and General Overseer of Zoe Pentecostal Mission Inc.
Other elected officers are: Bishop John Ernest Amponsah - 1st Vice President; Rev F. O Sanni - 2nd Vice President; Rev. George Asomaning - General Secretary; Pastor Rotimi Oteniya - Assistant General Secretary; Rev Samuel Nash Buaku - Financial Secretary; Rev. Solomon Ade Modupe – Treasurer; Pastor F.O Cole - Public Relations Officer; Apostle Dr. Daniel Prince Wiafe - Head of the Arbitration panel; Bishop Alfred Mensah - Head of Zonal Coordinators; and Bishop F. Amponsah - Head of Social and Welfare Committee.
Rev. Anthony Quarcoe was elected Chairman of the Committee of auditors, whose members include Elder Kwasi Bonsu and Elder Kwadwo Adjei Ampomah.
Bishop Osca Mensah and Bishop Charles Irabor were appointed members of the Arbitration Panel.
The elected officers were sworn in immediately after the election for a three year term.
