Police in Turin have arrested a man who posed as a Carabinieri officer to extort money from a pensioner who went with a sex worker.
Giuseppe Mammone, 44, the fake Carabiniere officer went to the pensioner and threatened to send the photos to his wife unless he parted with 5,000 Euros.
The pensioner who agreed to bring 1,000 Euros a few days later at Le Fornaci di Beinasco Commercial Centre in Turin, notified the police who arrived and arrested Giuseppe while collecting the money.
He is now accused of extortion and falsely pretending to be a Public Officer.
