Institutions should not betray the expectations of young immigrants who come to Europe to look for a better future, Speaker of Italy’s Chamber of Deputies Gianfranco Fini has said.
The institutions and the society should accompany and enable them make better use of their skills, he said.
Mr. Fini said that it was important to defend and promote the education of children and youth. Protecting them from exploitation means preparing a better future for all, Mr. Fini said, adding that these young people are the future of the society. “There is no future without knowledge,” he said.
