At least 16 people have been confirmed dead following the earthquake that yesterday hit Italy’s Emilia region.
Civil Protection officials say that 350 have been injured, one person is still missing while 14,000 have been left homeless.
The magnitude 5.8 earthquake which hit Emilia region yesterday destroyed homes, damaged historic buildings, warehouses and factories.
It was the second one in ten days. The first one killed seven people.
The earth continued to tremble throughout the night, spreading fear among the survivors.
