Gentilini: No to regularisation – illegals must be expelled

Illegal immigrants in Italy should be expelled, Giancarlo Gentilini, Northern League Party official has said.

Mr. Gentilini is disappointed with the government’s decision to regularise illegal immigrant workers.

Italy is undergoing a serious economic crisis with a high unemployment rate and an increase in suicide cases, Mr. Gentilini said.

He accused the government of approving a measure to regularise illegal immigrants while many legal immigrants have packed and returned to their home countries.

Mr. Gentilini asked the government to pay special attention to the country’s main and urgent problems such as helping earthquake victims.

I dont think Mr Gentilini has said anything wrong. Its ok that this measurement will give the third world country people an opportunity to stay in a rich country. But while there is a high economic crisis and very high unemployed rate, whats the use of a residency card? And many ppl are moving there without knowing the information properly. So i think eventually a high number of ppl will suffer a lot.
