I’ve never had a permit. Can I be regularised?

Question: I came to Italy five years ago but I’ve never been issued any permit. Can I apply to be regularised?

Answer: Yes, you have a chance of being regularised if you can prove that you were in Italy by 31st December 2011. You must also have an employer for whom you have been working for at least three months. If your employer is willing to apply for your regularisation, then you can be regularised.
