Everything you need to know about regularisation of workers in Italy

Employers applying to regularise their illegal immigrant workers in Italy can do so until 15th October 2012. No applications will be accepted after that date.

The applications must be submitted online by the employer. To apply, the employer must log on to the website of Ministry of Home Affairs at www.interno.gov.it.

There is a special section reserved for those applying to regularise their workers.

Regularisation – Important information about application fee

Before the employers can submit the applications to regularise their workers, they must pay the application fee of 1000 Euros for each worker to be regularised.

This amount must be paid by the employer, not the worker, so if your employer forces you to pay it, be informed that they are doing the wrong thing.
