The following will be allowed to apply as employers in order to regularise their illegal immigrant workers: Italian citizens, European Union citizens and non-EU citizens who are holders of the EC long term residence permit (Carta di Soggiorno).
If you are employed by a non-EU citizen who doesn’t hold the EC long term residence permit, then be informed that your employer will not be allowed to apply for your regularisation.
Companies and organisations officially registered in Italy, will also be allowed to apply to regularise their workers if their legal representatives are: Italian citizens, EU citizens and non-EU citizens who are holders of the EC long term residence permit.
